Jessica is a Rhinebeck native, born and raised. She currently lives just outside of the town in Clinton Corners with her partner of 10 years, Clint, and their almost 3 year old son, Atticus. She just recently graduated from SUNY New Paltz with her BA in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is also in the process of completing her Birth Doula training. She shopped at Waddle N Swaddle a lot throughout her pregnancy and once her son was born, going into the store became their weekly outing. She attended nursing circle often which was her saving grace in feeling commiseration & understanding from other mamas. She loves being in this community and feeling like she has a safe space to talk about the struggles of motherhood with people who truly get it. She says that working here has also been an amazing experience and outlet to meet even more parents in the area. Her favorite thing about now working at the store is being able to help new moms find their new favorite essentials. You can talk to her about anything but she especially loves to help with: breastfeeding, cloth diapers, and wrap carriers.
Where you can find her: Rhinebeck on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
